About Rajini
Rajini is a practising speech-language pathologist with more than eleven years of clinical experience. She trained at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), earning her M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology.
Her clinical work spans paediatric speech and language delays, social communication for autistic children, ADHD-related communication challenges, fluency disorders, auditory-verbal therapy for hearing-impaired children, and adult aphasia and dysarthria. She practises in English, Telugu, and Hindi, and works with both individual and small-group sessions.
Rajini is the co-founder and clinical reviewer of SocialBlossom. Every social story, illustration prompt, and SEL game that ships on this site is reviewed by her against the criteria she uses with her own clients: age-appropriate language, strengths-based framing, neurodiversity-affirming tone, and clear, repeatable patterns kids can hold onto.
Clinical experience
Speech therapist. Assessment and intervention for receptive and expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, stammering, autism, ADHD, slow learners, specific language disorders, and cognitive deficits. Parent counselling and home-strategy training.
Speech-language pathologist. Auditory-verbal therapy for hearing-impaired children, fluency therapy for stammering, language assessments for both children and adults, and cochlear-implant support.
Speech-language pathologist and clinical supervisor. Worked with neuromuscular disorders such as cerebral palsy, post-stroke aphasia, traumatic brain injury, and dysarthria. Also guided diploma-level clinical students.
